Due
to the inclement weather Saturday, we were not able to hold in-person
registrations at the library. We will update this site if we are able to
hold another in-person registration.
Teams
are filling up fast, so register today!
Registration costs:
Majors/Minors (5-, 6-, 7-, and 8-year-olds: $110 (includes complete uniform and pictures)
T-Ball (4-year-olds): $60 (includes uniform and pictures)
There is a $25 discount off the total price if you register two of your children; $30 for registering three children and $35 for registering four children.
*Note: If your child played in the Majors (7- and 8-year-old) division last year, and their coach is returning, your child will automatically be assigned to that coach's team again this year, unless you request otherwise. This does not apply to the Minors or T-Ball divisions or to new incoming Majors players. Please contact us at FTRLbaseball@hotmail.com

Age Groups:
Major League: Born after May 1, 2001 and before April 30th, 2003
Minor League: Born after May 1st, 2003 and before April 30th, 2005
Tee Ball: Born after May 1st, 2005 and before April 30th, 2006
IMPORTANT
DATES: The
season schedule is still being worked out, but tentatively, the regular season
will run April 24-June 5, with the Majors tournament concluding on June 12.
T-ball games will be held Saturday’s from 9-10 a.m. Minor games will
be held Tuesday’s from 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday’s from 10:30-noon.
Major games will be held Thursday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday’s
from 1-2:30 p.m.
Practice
dates have not yet been established but practices will be allowed to begin on
April 5th. The days and the times of practices will be up to
each individual team and coach. As soon as we have more information, we
will post it to the website.
We
will also be having our Parents Meeting the night of March 16th, followed by a
Spirit Night at Chik-Fil-A on March 17th. So please come out for both
events and show your support!
KIDS PITCHING:
A motion to add two innings of kids pitching in the Majors
(7/8-year-old) Division was introduced for consideration by the board at the end
of the 2009 season and it was announced that we would add kids pitch this year.
Since that time, the board has
transitioned with several members moving on and new members coming aboard.
As a result, on Feb. 2, the board met and revisited the proposal. Due to
logistical and safety concerns expressed by board members, coaches and parents,
the board voted unanimously against adding kids pitch this year.
